📍 Alexandra Hills, QLD
Family-friendly pub featuring Sweetopia candy-themed mini golf in beautiful garden surrounds, café dining, live music on weekends, and a playground for younger children.
Had a 6.30pm dine in booking for 6 people on a saturday night to celebrate our mums birthday. We called to say that we were running 10minutes late and they were very understanding. We arrived and Sheryl showed us to our table and let us know they had other food options thay wernt on the menu . I ordered at the counter as I wanted the meals that wernt on the menu , unfortunately eftpos was down but luckily a family member had cash. So it pays to have cash on you. The rest of the table had ordered through the qr code. Sheryl and the team were very attentive checking in on us and updating us that there was a delay in with our food.We paid around $90 for food and drinks for 2 people and there was a long wait for our meals about 45minutes to 1 hour . Despite that i Just wanted to say that we loved the service from Sheryl ,she managed to get our little one to eat all her meal and she received a ice cream after finishing it all. The customer service we received tonight was great , I would definitely recommend eating here and we will probably dube here again
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of mixed ages who want to combine mini golf with a sit-down meal and outdoor atmosphere. The candy-themed course is imaginative and the garden setting is genuinely attractive. Weekend afternoons bring live music to the beer garden, making it a full outing rather than just a quick stop.

“This was our first time here (and first time playing mini putt in 15 years) and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The entire property was well presented & clean, the staff were helpful, friendly and up for a laugh and the atmosphere was warm & inviting. Mini putt was super fun to play surrounded by amazing gardens, and we even had a friendly lizard come to visit on the course. Lots of laughs, a couple of drinks and back to the restaurant for lunch. We didn't use the playground but it looked very impressive. It was a great family fun day out for the 10 of us and we all agreed that we'd like to return (we actually couldn't believe that none of us had been here before). A big thumbs up to the staff who make or break a place, you are all amazing. Thank you Alexandra Hills Hotel and Putt Putt, we will be back.”

“My family hadn’t been since the upgrade. (Last time my family was up there was when The Alex was a night club, late 90’s early 2000), so when I first suggested going there for dinner and putting putt they were a little hesitant. After our experience, the meals and the staff, they will be arranging further gatherings with you. Staff I would like to make special mention of Jazz and David. Absolutely amazing.”

“The beer garden is a great setting for live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. If you are with others it is best to book a table early. However the music can be heard from within the main bar area where there was plenty of seating during my visit. Good selection of beers and wines are available. Though I did not order any food myself, the food I saw delivered to others looked good.”
