I have attended competitions here and all seems to be set up well. Plenty of eats and drinks. A restaurant too. Plenty of seating. The stables for horses look in good shape and plenty of overnight camping space (for vans or tents) for weekend comps. Bathroom facilities and games room also great. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of the competition side of it, but I did of other areas.

The relaxed, well-maintained grounds work for a casual visit too. Competition calendar determines the best visit dates; non-event days are quieter with fewer spectacle opportunities.

“Nice place to stop for a coffee, especially if there is an equestruan event on, as the glass windows overlook the jumping arena. Also a great dinner option if you fancy something special.”

“We took our 10 year old who does horse riding to the park to watch a competition, she loved it and found it very inspiring! The cafe at the venue was fantastic and had lunch and drinks available, so we had a great afternoon sitting on the porch watching some very impressive jumps while having lunch and drinks, can’t imagine anything better!”
