Large outdoor reserve in Sunshine West featuring a multi-level playground with flying foxes, tunnel slides, and birds nest swing, plus a water play area with pumps and channels, sandpit, BBQ shelters, and paved walking paths along Kororoit Creek.
Great place for families to come together. Suitable for anyone. Great playground for kids. Long paved path/trail that runs along the creek. Joggers, people walking & cyclists frequent the reserve, with or without dogs on lead. The council have done a great job on the whole area. Can be very picturesque.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for active families wanting a full outdoor session with structured playground equipment, water play, BBQ facilities, and nature walking. Children of all ages are well catered for. Visit in daylight hours only â the reserve is remote after dark. of tiger snakes near the creek and river banks, particularly in spring and summer.

âThe snakes are out early . This tiger was making its way up the hill from the river towards the BBQ area on Saturday 6th September. Myself and doggo came across it with a shock. It didnt run away, or turn around or flee , it just squashed it's head flat and was waiting to bite us. As we moved away it just continued its climb up towards the BBQ area. The snakes I see are rarely trying to get away so that old saying about snakes hiding when they hear us just isn't true. It's a nice park but I advise you to keep your eyes open and stick to the main playground/oval area. Don't go exploring the river area or let your pets in that area in spring/summer and keep away from the drug dealers in the carpark.â

âNice park with BIG trees, walking paths and the river runs through here too! Went to the Reserve for a looksee out of curiosity and stayed 2 hours in the blink of an eye! Enough here to keep adults occupied, as well as the cool castle playground. Big tables and seating in the shade, quite afew BBQs and bins provided. Bathrooms were clean. Enjoy đ;-)â

âDecent park right next to Kororiot creek. Something for all ages, a water paly area and sandpit for under 3, swings and flying fox for 5and up plus a decent sized slide. Also rope climbing web looking thing. There is a reasonable sized bbq area and undercover seating so entertaining groups is doable.â
