1 / 3Bunbury Regional Art Gallery
📍 Bunbury, WA
Free entry gallery in a heritage pink building — formerly a convent — showing WA, national and international artists across ground and first-floor galleries. Lift access, a dedicated kids' activity space, free tea and coffee on offer.
We visited this art gallery that is housed in a historic building that is pink in colour. Entrance is free and we found the art very interesting and of good variety. There are several galleries both on the ground and first floor. They have lift access to the first floor which is very helpful. There is also a working colourful piano to the left of the entrance. We very much enjoyed our visit.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age children who want a free cultural outing in a genuinely interesting heritage building. The staff orientation takes the guesswork out of supervising kids around artworks. The dedicated activity space gives younger children a safe zone.

“Great place and very friendly and approachable staff. They welcome us with a brief orientation for the exhibits that needs extra care nd caution especially kids need supervision at all times which is understandable. There was even a kids activity space and free coffee or tea.”

“Lovely old building, which was a former convent. Unfortunately, the main galley was closed (setting up a new exhibition), which was unfortunate during half term holidays. Friendly staff and other floors to explore. We enjoyed our free visit.”
