Fantastic and unique playground for all ages. Using recycled and repurposed materials a playground unlike the typical has been created here - think used tyres, excavator parts, mud huts and old ropes - not plastic swings, slides or merry-go-rounds.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for adventurous kids aged 4–10 who are bored by standard plastic playgrounds. The recycled material construction gives the space a genuinely different feel — nothing here looks like any other playground. Pram access is possible on the gravel paths as it requires effort; carrying a young toddler is easier.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Steep gravel paths require effort with a pram — a carrier or back-pack is easier for under-2s
Pair the playground with the CERES cafe and Merri Creek trail for a half-day outing
🎟️The robo-centipede, tyre dome, and Adobe sandpit house are the main drawcards — allow at least an hour
🚗Entry to the playspace is free — cafe is separate

A brilliantly creative adventure playground a short walk from the Ceres cafe and Merri Creek trail. The steep gravel paths to the playground can be tough-going with a stroller but people do do it regularly. Kids love the new robo-centipede play structure and tyre dome. The restored Adobe house and sandpit are still favourites too.

Overview

The play structures here are made from salvaged tyres, excavator parts, old ropes, and recycled timber rather than manufactured playground equipment. The centipede structure is the headline — children climb through, over, and along it in multiple ways. The tyre dome and Adobe house with sandpit provide calmer play options. A short walk connects to the CERES cafe and the Merri Creek trail for a longer family outing.
