Such a beautiful place to go for a stroll, have a nice cup of coffee at the cafe (fabulous coffee 🥰), have a picnic and on Monday and Wednesdays join in on a morning of community and self care by partaking in yoga. Julie doesn't require any bookings in advance, show up on the day and pay $5! Connect to your body, earth and soul. For all levels and while you feel the gentle breeze and sun hit your face, listen to Julie's soul and blues playlist ❤️ Can't recommend it enough 🩷🫶

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with younger children and older relatives who want a quiet, unhurried outdoor walk with a cafe stop built in. The compact layout keeps the visit manageable for toddlers and grandparents alike. The yoga sessions on Monday and Wednesday mornings add an active option for adults.

💡The on-site cafe has excellent coffee — plan a stop mid-visit
Monday and Wednesday morning yoga sessions are drop-in with a small fee — no booking needed

The garden is very well maintained and not too big. We spent about 1.5 hours here, slowly admiring the plants and blooms, as my elderly companion loves flowers. We visited on a weekday morning, and it was quite difficult to find a parking spot, not sure if it is always like this or if there was an event nearby on that day. There is also a café inside. Free entrance and parking. Worth a visit if you are in the area and enjoy plants.

Perfect weather today for a botanic garden visit. Best spot to chill and to walk around to see all the nature that Geelong has to offer In this botanic garden.

I was very impressed to see how they have maintained the garden and kept it clean. There was so many variety of plants and flowers and some spots were such inviting for pictures. There were some areas which seemed like they are still working on them. So next year there should be more to explore. However, a great spot to come for picnic or a family hangout.

A cafe inside the gardens serves quality coffee and food with seating among the greenery. Free Monday and Wednesday morning yoga sessions are available without bookings on a pay-on-arrival basis.
