1 / 3Harpley Estate Playground
π Werribee, VIC
Australian-animal-themed playground in Werribee featuring a giant brolga sculpture linked to towers and slides, a flying fox with harness seating, hollow logs with hidden creatures, sound boxes playing native wildlife calls, and a 50+ animal
The park and playground are great for kids with plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors. It's a nice place for families to spend time together. However, I would advise caution as during my last visit, I encountered two snakes. Itβs important to stay alert, especially when walking in less visible areas. Overall, itβs a pleasant spot but make sure to keep an eye out for safety.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and primary-aged kids who enjoy discovery-style play β the treasure hunt and hidden creatures extend a visit well past typical playground time. Reviewers report toddlers spending 4+ hours here. No toilet facilities on site, so factor that into planning.

βThis park is the original park when Harpley was first created a number of years ago. It has always been well presented and functional as the sales office used to be directly across from it. Always a family favourite with our household to pop in and use the play equipment. It has a great sense of a caring community vibe. 5 stars from our household.β

βA kids playground π well maintained. Nice kidβs activity to do. You also few picturesque places , including bridge and water below that. Not too much covered area but good for a picnic under the trees . Go there on a nice weather and you will Not be disappointed.β

Overview
Harpley Estate Playground is built around a giant brolga sculpture connected to lookout towers, rope bridges, and slides via mushroom stepping stones. A flying fox with harness seating handles younger riders. Hollow logs hide lizards, frogs, ants, and an echidna as part of a 50+ animal treasure hunt across the park. Sound boxes play Australian nature sounds. Facilities include a covered BBQ shelter, toadstool seating, and lakeside walking paths. No on-site toilets β plan ahead.
