1 / 3Kalamunda Water Park
đ Kalamunda, WA
Seasonal outdoor water park in Kalamunda with a 50-metre Olympic pool, wading pool, toddler pool, and two tube slides. Shaded grassed areas, BBQ facilities, and an on-site kiosk.
One of the better swimming pools in Perth. Easy to access, plenty of parking, reasonable pricing. Clean and tidy. Kids are allowed to dive and jump in. There are toddler pools available also. We were a bit disappointed that one of the slides was not in operation when we visited but they gave us a discount for the inconvenience so that was appreciated.
đ Family Action Verdict
Families with toddlers through to primary-school-aged children get the best value here â the multi-pool layout means different ages can spread out, and the toddler pool is consistently praised as clean and well-shaded.

âVery clean, plenty of space to set up a tent and picnic. They have a pool for every age as well as 2 slides for the older kids/adults. The price is fair. We always have a great time hereâ

âGood family day out. Big free carpark. The kiosk was a welcome treat with some basic hot snacks and ice cream. Facilities are basic but clean and seemed to be a few lifeguards on duty walking around. The toddlers wadding pool is where I spent most my time on my recent visits and appeared clean and the kids loved it, well shaded and plenty of shaded grass areas and a few tables near the kids pools. The Olympic pool with lanes is not shaded at all. Overall a lovely family trip out.â

âUnfortunately not the park I remember from the late 90s / early 2000s. Appears to have fallen victim to increased safety regulations and cost efficiency pursuits. Speed slides are long gone as are the diving boards. The queues for the two remaining tube slides moved very slowly as crowds increased. Lifeguards seemed quite disinterested. There is plenty of shade and grass, the pools overall were good, and tickets were reasonably priced. But I feel the park will need to invest in some additional attractions / points of difference to remain competitive into the future.â
