1 / 3Leicester Street Playground
📍 Parkside, SA
Leicester Street Playground is fully fenced with a large shade cloth over the equipment, grassed areas, slides, swings, climbing frames, and picnic tables. Best suited for children aged 0–4. No on-site toilets.
Great little playground. Has plenty of grass, shade and sun. Some big beautiful gum trees. Table with chairs. Plus a few seated areas. 2 entrances to the playground. Slides and swings
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for parents of children aged 0–4 wanting a safe, shaded, and fenced local spot for a casual outing. The equipment height and complexity is scaled exactly for toddlers — one-year-olds can climb without constant assistance. Families with children over 5 will likely find the equipment too easy.

“Has great play equipment for toddlers, our 2.5 year old could manage well without assistance. We brought a picnic and our dog on lead but so many people have their dogs here off lead that it became quite annoying (we were sitting with our food on the grass but there are 2 picnic tables which we will use next time). No toilet facilities”

“A cosy local spot, perfect for the younger kids. I wish the wheels turned and that there were toilets but my 1 year old definitely approved. He was able to climb around without much assistance. Highly recommend for 0-4 (toddlers and young kids). Well shaded too. (I don’t see any mold).”
