“We had our son’s 5th birthday at Lollipops Playland & Café Roxburgh Park on November 3rd, 2025 and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We booked the entire venue for the evening and from start to finish, everything ran so smoothly. The two team members working that night were exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. Even though the centre was open to the public until 6pm, they worked quickly and efficiently to clean and prepare the space before our guests arrived. Throughout the night, they were attentive to every request and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. Our guests had an amazing time and our son had the best birthday ever. We’re so grateful for the effort of the staff and highly recommend Lollipops Playland & Café Roxburgh Park as a venue to hire out for a birthday.”

Not only did the staff do all the heavy lifting (cooked and presented the food, cleaned up, kept the party to schedule with announcements about cake time etc) but they were so kind, lovely and helpful! We have a large family with LOTS of children and it was the perfect venue for our event - and it was super affordable! Thanks team for helping to create a core memory for our family 🤍”

“Had my son’s first birthday there as a private function. Staff were very helpful and the night ran very smoothly. All my guests enjoyed the atmosphere and the kids had a wonderful time playing. Plenty of room for all your food, people, decor and more! 😀”

“We have been regular visitors to this play centre for some time, but unfortunately, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing and has prompted us to reconsider returning. Upon arrival, it was clear the centre had not been cleaned from the previous day. Rubbish was scattered across the floors, and the ball pit was completely empty. The centre was noticeably understaffed, with no supervision on the floor. Older children were playing roughly and throwing items in the toddler area, which is designated for children under three. Many children were also climbing on equipment unsafely and using the play areas while consuming food and drinks, leading to numerous spills and food scattered throughout the equipment. The state of the toilet facilities was unacceptable. Toilets were filthy, with toilet paper and sanitary products on the floor, and no toilet paper available in the cubicles. The baby change room was in a similarly poor condition. The nappy bin was overflowing, clearly not emptied from the previous day, and the change mats were visibly dirty with an extremely gross smell throughout the space. I must acknowledge, however, that the staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely great with the children. Unfortunately, due to being so severely understaffed, they are simply unable to maintain the centre to an appropriate standard. I truly feel for them having to manage such overwhelming conditions. This centre has great potential to be an outstanding facility, but the current lack of hygiene, cleanliness, and supervision poses serious concerns.”
