Best for families with children who want direct animal contact rather than behind-glass zoo viewing. Morning visits find kangaroos more active; afternoon arrivals often encounter animals sheltering from heat. The kangaroo encounter is the centrepiece β feed bags are available at entry. Add mini-golf for a longer stay.

βThis place is incredible. Going in with the kids we didnβt have much expectations but just to see some koalas and may be feed them. But the place just surprised us. Thereβs loads of Koalas and kangaroos and you can feed any of them freely while touching them. Somme more reptiles and birds are available as well. Good facilities and the kids enjoyed the tour immensely.β

βYou can pay extra for animal experiences. We didnt opt for these so I can't speak much on what they are like. The animals were very active in their enclosures. However we couldnt see anything in the nocturnal enclosure. The kangaroos weren't all too interested in the feed and they mainly chilled in their refuge areas. There is a cafe and a gift shop. The mini golf was fun and pirate themed.β

βVisited Maru Koala & Animal Park again after nearly 10 years, and the difference was noticeable. Earlier, there was a wide variety of active kangaroos and the park felt more lively. This time, there were hardly around 10 kangaroos, and most were just sleeping. The Tasmanian devil was the only animal that felt energetic, running around and engaging. Most of the other animals were sitting or inactive. Overall, it wasnβt what we expected based on our previous visit. An average experience this timeβ
