1 / 3McKenzie Reserve Playground
đ Yarra Glen, VIC
Large all-ages playground in Yarra Glen featuring a giant wooden play structure, pyramid rope climb, birds nest swing, carousel, five swings, and a sandpit with rock waterfall and water bubbler.
Good sized playground suitable for both little ones and school aged kids. Toilets are okay, fairly clean by public standards. I love the water feature at the sand pit, a continuous gentle flow of water cascading down the rock pile. Cafe and shops are close by so it's easy to grab a bite before heading off.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with multiple children of different ages who want a full afternoon out. The water feature in the sandpit means kids will get wet and sandy â bring spare clothes and a towel. The BBQ and grassy picnic area make it easy to stay for several hours without needing to leave for food.

âA fantastic park with big variety of play equipment for kids of all ages. The sand pit has a working fountain, which is heaps of fun for the kids to play with. Plenty of natural shade, a BBQ with big grassy area for picnics, and serviced with public toilets.â

âPerfect place to spend an afternoon with kids. They had so much fun and on our way back stopped at Chocolate factory which was just 5 minutes drive away. Highly recommended.â
