Dope gym. From the photos online, I thought it’d be smaller, so I was stoked to find such a big space. there’s a separate gym area and the yoga/stretching room too. Some solid sets here. Not really vibing with the green level β€” just not my style of climbs. but the purples are a good time. Compared to my home gym, the boulders here are honestly 10x better. I love how they have a dyno practice area and even a comp wall. Staff are super chill, always friendly, and the playlists never miss. All-round cool joint!!! If I lived in Sydney I’d come here over some of the other competitors.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 5+ who are new to bouldering or want to develop technique alongside parents. The intro sessions are highly recommended for first-timers. The community atmosphere is genuinely welcoming. Pack light layers β€” the gym runs warm, especially in summer.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Book a one-on-one intro session with an instructor before your first visit β€” highly recommended for beginners
⏰Dress in layers β€” the gym relies on fans rather than air conditioning
🎟️Bring your own shoes if possible β€” rental stock can have maintenance gaps
πŸš—Dogs are welcome on-site

β€œI’m a newbie but really enjoying learning new techniques and making new friends. Everyone who greets me at front desk are always helpful and cheerful. The yoga class is a nice complement to bouldering. I booked in for a one on one/ intro session with Mattias and would highly recommend! Love that it’s dog friendly so my sidekick 🐢 joins me occasionally. The gym is also equipped with what I need to build strength πŸ‘Œ I like that there’s a strong sense of community and camaraderie too.”

β€œReally enjoyed the route setting here. For me, it was much better than the other gyms in this part of Sydney, which may be newer and more glitzy, but their route setting is pretty average compared to Nomad. And, the staff were very nice and showed genuine care.”

β€œNice gym with a good range of wall types and climbs. They also have a training board, gym and yoga space. The range within grade colours felt really wide, with some climbs of the same colour feeling super easy and others impossible, and it wasn't due to different styles of climbing. Downsides were that it was too hot (large garage door open with only large fans, no(?) AC). And the staff weren't that attentive or friendly.”
