“I visited Oakford Equestrian Centre for their trail ride and was not disappointed! We had such an amazing trail ride from start to finish. Michael was incredibly welcoming and patient, stopping at times to ask if we were okay. He had also managed to grab us some pictures which was great! The horses were calm, gentle and well looked after. The trail ride itself was beautiful and peaceful. The property is huge with plenty of open space. Riding through such a large property added to the experience as it felt spacious and quiet. In the beginning, two of us were being lead on by Michael which really helped us feel comfortable and confident. However as the ride went on, we were able to ride more independently. This really added to the experience making it more fun and rewarding. Overall this was such a memorable and fun experience. I would recommend this trail ride to anyone whether you are beginner or experienced! The combination of friendly staff, the huge property and beautiful horses is why I would love to come back again.”

“Highly recommend the horseback riding on the beach. My 8 year old has very little riding experience and Jess and Michael were excellent with her. They encouraged her to swim with her horse even when she was hesitant and she LOVED it! It was a gorgeous day on the beach and the moment we started to leave my daughter asked if she could do it again. Appropriate group size with participant to instructor ratio.”
