1 / 3Oasis Aquatic Centre
đ Wagga Wagga, NSW
Multi-pool aquatic centre with an outdoor 50m Olympic pool, indoor heated 25m pool, program pool for lessons and rehabilitation, and a splash-and-play pool with a whirlpool and water fountains. Outdoor playground and seating on site.
I visited the aquatic centre last week and was very impressed by its facilities. The centre has a large indoor pool with different lanes for swimming, diving and water aerobics. The water temperature was comfortable and the pool was clean and well-maintained. There is also a smaller pool for children and a jacuzzi for relaxing. The centre offers various classes and programs for all ages and skill levels, such as learn-to-swim, aqua fit, and more. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the locker rooms were spacious and modern. I enjoyed my time at the aquatic centre and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and healthy activity. The centre has big shower areas. At the time of my visit there was an event ongoing in the outdoor pool conducted by taskforce 72 scale model ship association which happens on annual basis. Its a fun event where there are multiple boats with precise features remotely controlled by pilots are run in the water.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across multiple ages, from toddler splash zones through to lap swimmers and squad training. The variety of pools means different family members can split across areas simultaneously. Those booking lessons for young children should enquire about instructor experience with under-fives before committing to a program.

âExtremely muggy, no doors open on western side to create a cross breeze. The air circulation has been an ongoing problem since it was constructed . Also doesn't appear to be any tint on the large windows it is only 27 degreese and you can feel the sun stinging as you wait for internal swim classes to finish.â
