1 / 3Reading Cinemas Belmont
π Belmont, WA
Multi-screen cinema in Belmont attached to Dome restaurant and a variety of dining options. Offers kids' programming, group bookings, and movie marathon events. Discount sessions available on Tuesdays. Ample on-site parking.
Been to this cinema a few times and it doesn't disappoint. The seating I find is comfortable and the sound quality for the movie is clear and loud. The popcorn is decent, it wasn't overly salty or dry. I like how it's also close by to a wide variety of food restaurants and there's a good amount of parking in front of the cinema as well. Bring your own water though as they charge almost $6 dollars for a bottle of water π.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for local Belmont families wanting a convenient, affordable cinema with flexible dining options before or after the session. Tuesday discount sessions make regular family movie-going workable on a budget.

βHad a great time at the Lord of The Rings extended edition trilogy marathon on 24 January. Well organised and serving staff were pleasant too. The only downside is we were fined when we got back to our car at 11.15pm as we'd been in the movies carpark longer than 4 hours (Well duh!) So that left a bad taste. Overall a fantastic event & experience.β

βCheap on Tuesdays, plenty of parking, and the cinema chairs do not recline. Went during the day, the facilities and cinema was clean. The cinema is attached to Dome, and other restaurants serving sushi/ Asian cuisine, bubble tea, pizza and India foods.β

βWent to this cinema earlier today in the standard cinema, you would think the seats would be clean comfortable not worn, maybe even reclining. Unfortunately not, on the arm rests it was so worn that it was just the fabric as the leather was completely worn and gone, the seats didnβt recline werenβt very comfortable. Everything else was great this cinema is just in urgent need of a revamp, I would highly recommend upgrading youβre seats or going to another cinemaβ

Overview
Reading Cinemas Belmont operates as a standard multi-screen neighbourhood cinema anchored by good sound quality and a convenient location within a dining precinct that includes Dome, sushi, bubble tea, pizza, and Indian cuisine. The car park is large with time limits that matter for longer sessions β the four-hour maximum catches marathon viewers. Standard seating is non-reclining with some wear on older screens. Wheelchair accessible seating has sparse capacity.
