School holidays and this place was busy. We braved the crowds and were pleasantly surprised at how seamless our visit was. Really enjoyed The planetarium/Our Violent Universe and the Live Science/Liquid Nitrogen. The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging. Children in the audience were enthralled. Highly recommend pre purchasing tickets online for small discount and scanning code at entrance for free parking. Lunch on other side of carpark at Piccolo Me also delicious.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5-12 who enjoy hands-on discovery. The live shows are the must-see component — plan arrival to catch at least two back-to-back. School holiday crowds are real and manageable with early arrival.

“So much fun for adults and kids. We watched 3 live shows and spent the entire day playing with all the different exhibits. So many little activities to keep the kids entertained while still being educational. Highly recommended.”

“Great place for kids. Thi place is quite unknown to people in Sydney. They are like core or essential items from Quastacon in Canberra. Highly recommanded Will definitely visit again”
