Yeh nah what a classy place. I honestly don’t have the vocabulary to give the quality review that this joint deserves. It’s just really really good. I like everything about it - the windows, the carpet, the bench tops, the urinal, everything. This is the type of place Frank Sinatra and Marlyn Monroe would probably go on a first date. I’m just too uncultured to think of better compliments. You really have to see it for yourself. Take your nearest and dearest to see F1 with Brad Pitt and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Then you’ll understand how hard it is to do this place justice, unless you’re a professional critic.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families wanting a genuinely special cinema outing rather than a standard multiplex visit. The art deco setting and in-seat service create a memorable experience for children of all ages. Staff are particularly praised for birthday party coordination β€” the private screening option is well-suited to younger children's groups.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Cinema 1 is up a staircase β€” if mobility is a concern, ask staff about ground-level auditorium options on arrival
⏰Food and drinks are delivered to your seat during the film β€” order before the session begins
🎟️Birthday party packages include private screening options β€” enquire when booking as availability is sparse
πŸš—The bar area is open to non-movie customers β€” works well as a pre-film meeting point for groups

β€œI remember the old days when this cinema used to be one big cinema, but nowadays it's gone the way of small boutique cinemas and they've succeeded very well. They've kept with the theme of Art Deco and providing more luxury services like a waitress, bringing food and drink through a movie. We were in cinema 3, And I must admit, I haven't seen the other cinemas yet but this was great quality and probably sits about 30 people. Well recommended. A+++”

β€œWe held our child's party at the cinema and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and attentive from start to finish. Everything ran so smoothly β€” no pressure, no stress, and such an easy process throughout. We genuinely felt taken care of incredibly well, and the team went above and beyond to make the day so special. Thank you for making the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable!”

β€œWhat a beautiful theatre. Worth the walk up to Cinema 1 for the art deco interior.”
