We had my son's 7th birthday party self catered at Thornleigh Golf Centre in November 2025 and all 13 kids had a blast. Staff were very helpful and made sure we had a great time despite the intermittent rain on the day. The 36 holes mini golf was a lot of fun with lots of water obstacles, tunnels, etc which the kids love. The undercover outdoor area is spacious and perfect for the party. There weren't many other guests on the day because of the rain as well, just bring raincoats!

Best for families with children aged 5+ who want a longer outdoor-style activity that doesn't require much coordination. Kids consistently want to replay both 18-hole courses consecutively. The birthday party format works well — staff are proactive with water refills and setup.

“We had our twins 7th birthday party yesterday. There was a lot of kids/parents, the weather was very hot and Mandy the team were incredibly good. Nothing was a bother, they were helping with so many jugs of water refills, the food and our requests. Kids loved it and wanted to keep going for a third round after ice cream cake!! I'd highly recommend celebrating a kids party here.”

“Excellent for some family fun. Was little bit busy for my taste. Grab a quick snack at the cafe. Service a bit slow and woman's restrooms a bit dirty. Bit definitely value for money with a 18 or 36 mini golf course set in a tropical paradise. Also has a driving range. Will definitely go back. Super fun and staff very friendly and helpful.”
