1 / 3Timezone & Zone Bowling Knox
π Wantirna South, VIC
Timezone & Zone Bowling Knox combines tenpin bowling, laser tag, ColourGrid interactive floor, darts, and an arcade. The venue holds the only Chunithm cabinet in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and is recognised as the region's rhythm game hub.
Iβve been coming regularly since the reopening of the new venue, and this place is absolutely fantastic. Itβs rightly known as the rhythm game hub of Eastern Melbourne, with favourites like maimai, DDR, Taiko no Tatsujin and hosts the only Chunithm cabinet in the eastern suburbs. Itβs also obvious how much care goes into supporting rhythm gamers, with fans, seating for queues, and friendly, passionate staff who keep the machines in excellent condition. The only growing frustration within the rapidly growing Knox Chunithm community is the queue length. As a team that consistently ranks within the top 70 globally in activity, even weekday afternoons often have a wait of 2β3 players, which can grow to 5-6 people during busy periods such as weekends and Friday evenings. Recently, itβs become quite difficult to get a decent session in. Would it be possible to consider adding a second cabinet? Demand is consistently high, and having two machines would ease wait times, enable cab-to-cab features, and make the venue even more attractive to rhythm gamers. There are also various in-game events designed with multiple players in mind that a second cabinet will enable us to access. It would also allow for the possibility of hosting proper tournaments, which many Victorian Chunithm players would be excited to support. Otherwise, brilliant workβthis venue has become a genuine community space with a host of friendly people to meet and make new friends!
π Family Action Verdict
Two distinct audiences get a strong experience here: rhythm game enthusiasts who will find rare cabinet access, and families booking birthday parties who benefit from organised, energetic hosts. General family visits without a party booking work well for school-age kids.

ββοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ We had the most amazing experience with party host Jas for our daughterβs 10th birthday! π From start to finish, she was absolutely fantastic - full of energy, engaging and so wonderful with the kids. Jas didnβt just host the party, she joined in on the fun, playing games and keeping everyone laughing. Our daughter and her friends had the best time!β
