1 / 3Wollondilly Leisure Centre
📍 Picton, NSW
Community leisure centre in Picton with a 25m indoor pool, 50m outdoor pool, sports hall, gymnasium, and family facilities including free BBQ areas, picnic tables, and learn-to-swim programs.
I enjoy the Wollondilly Leisure Centre because it has a mix of genders, ages and fitness levels. You have access to indoor, outdoor pools, gym, PTs, and classes. You pay 1 joining fee then a small weekly membership. It's value for money, especially in these times of struggling for cost of living. Try it for yourself, you've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. BTW, I've been a member for a few years now. X
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families wanting both indoor and outdoor pool access in a quiet, uncrowded setting get strong value here — the outdoor pool sees only a handful of lap swimmers on most visits, leaving it largely open for recreation. Free BBQs and ample parking make it a full-afternoon outing.

“Recently enrolled in a membership and my experience was fantastic! As someone who’s new to the area, I truly appreciated how welcoming and helpful the receptionist, Jada, was. She explained all the classes and membership details thoroughly, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to my time here. Definitely a 5-star experience!”

“Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre is known less formally as Picton Pool. It’s a cute and quiet aquatic centre with all the standard attractions for kids and families in the indoor section, leaving the outdoor pool for a mere handful of us to enjoy. No lap swimmers were taking advantage of the lanes reserved for them, but at least the recreation lanes had their ropes removed for us to splash around in. Lawn and trees, free BBQs and picnic tables, it has all the things you want from a council pool, including ample parking. Adult entry is only $6.60. We’ll come again when passing through.”

“The staff was lovely so I thought…. One of the lifeguards was on their break and they were mucking around with other lifeguards there. They were doing flips of the blocks and one of the older lifeguards nicely asked them to stop. They disrespected them and was chatting back. I thought that was very direspectful. Then when the older lifeguard left I heard them swearing and making fun of them. I am very disgusted by this behaviour and hope something happens about it. Other than that it was nice to go to and enjoy with my family and friends”

Overview
Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre — locally known as Picton Pool — runs a 25m indoor heated pool alongside a 50m outdoor pool used for lap swimming and carnivals. A double-court sports hall hosts netball and basketball; gymnastics facilities and group fitness classes round out the program. Free BBQ areas and picnic tables sit adjacent to the outdoor pool. Casual adult entry is very affordable, and weekly memberships give access to pool, gym, and classes.
