“Have noticed that lots of people start swimming classes for their kids here & then move elsewhere. The instructors are great, but the classes have too many kids (this morning our son’s class had 9! Children participating in one half hour class), feels like a bit of a money grab. The staff that work in the centre are mainly kids & don’t really have answers to a lot of questions & in our personal experience made mistakes & left us to deal with the consequences of that. We tried to book private lessons but the centre never responded so we have moved elsewhere. A shame as this has always been my local go to since I was a child”

“​I’ve been a member at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre for nearly five years. On the positive side, it's a wonderful place to catch up with friends, and I’ve always enjoyed the sauna facilities, which are spacious with two rooms. The 8 PM closing time on Sundays is also a major convenience. ​However, there are some significant downsides. The centre closes for maintenance very frequently, and I've found it extremely difficult to get a response from customer service. My biggest disappointment was when I cancelled my subscription; after five years of loyalty, they charged me a two-week fee, which I felt was an unfair policy.”
