“I like going here. Their price range is good especially the childcare that they provide for busy parents with few hours to spend. The swimming pool is also clean, large lockers and their introduction to the place is always lovely.”

“Gym is great and the staff are wonderful and friendly however the "soup" of a spa and hydro pool situation where it's clear the all day cartel of a specific clientele don't exit the water and clearly cause issues. I think it would be helpful to close for a week, pressure hose the pools, spa and change rooms. When you ring out your bathers and the water is questionable...you just know you've swam in a toilet from the specific group that haven't left the water since 8am. Staff are wonderful, but they are battling an angry cartel that refuse to leave the water or let another member use the singular "good" spa jet. As a positive if you like a bit comedy, when the spa jets turn off just watch them refuse to move and look at the youngest person expecting them to be there slave. I don't know why I go, maybe it's for comedy or maybe for fitness. I do find it fun.”

“Unhygienic and Poorly Managed I cancelled my membership at the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre Gym due to repeated hygiene and management issues. The entire facility, especially the toilets, is consistently unclean. Toilets appear to be shared with the pool area, so you end up with wet, dirty floors and a strong smell that’s a mix of water and urine. There are no separate toilets just for the gym users, which is frankly a basic hygiene measure they should have in place. On top of that, the sauna and steam rooms are left unmonitored and are unhygienic. People are engaging in gross personal grooming behaviors in there and the staff never seem to care or intervene. The spa area is another headache. Only a couple of the jets actually work properly, and there’s a so-called “spa cartel” of regulars who hog them and cause confrontations. Staff do nothing to manage it, so it becomes a ridiculous free-for-all. To make matters worse, they recently changed their fee structure so that you have to pay for full aquatic center access even if you only want to use the gym. This triples the cost for no added benefit. The overall attitude from staff is dismissive and unhelpful. In short, it’s not worth it. It’s poorly managed, unclean, and not a good gym experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.”
