⭐️ Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre ⭐️ I joined the Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre in January 2025 and have probably only used the facilities about 15% of the time. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I know I need to make more of an effort to take full advantage of everything offered. Overall, it’s been a good experience. After six months, I’d also like to mention the best personal trainer / gym instructor I’ve met — Natalie. She’s incredibly attentive, motivating, and always pushes us to make the most of our sessions. She has truly made a positive difference in my fitness journey. However, I do have a health and safety concern. There are a couple of poles near the entrance that seem potentially hazardous, especially when entering from the side. “After a long day at work, visiting Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre was a great way to unwind. The indoor and outdoor pools were both well maintained and easy to enjoy. The centre felt clean and well run. The space worked well for relaxing and staying active. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good place to reset after a busy day.”

“Had my child’s birthday party here and was very happy. The swim instructors were fabulous hosts and the kids had such a wonderful time. We never felt concerned for the kids’ safety at any time. The food was also good. Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic customer service! Petro excels above & beyond. Great pool for adults, very nice pools for the children. Outdoor people is also heated, would have been a lot more fun if big slides were added!”
