How have I not known about this place before?! It’s gorgeous!! So interesting, beautiful and tranquil. The grounds are a bit muddy. Wear comfortable shoes that can handle the red mud. There is a cafe on site. Not much shelter. Bring appropriate umbrella or hat. Lots of spots to stop snd sit and enjoy. There was a great fairy garden for children although the large water areas are not kid friendly. I bought lotus flowers on the way out - they’re beautiful. I’ll certainly be back.

“What a beautiful day out! Was lucky enough to visit here over the weekend. The garden is stunning. The flowers really are beautiful. So many gorgeous trails and lakes. Plenty of people also enjoying themselves. Amazing fairy garden with face painting and stories for the kids. Cafe was great and there was an ice cream kiosk. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Thanks for an amazing day out guys!”

“Beautiful garden, perfect destination for a daytrip, just about an hour from the city, in the Yarra Valley. The garden is in full bloom in summer, about an hour -1.5 to walk around. Heaps of huts if you want to do picnic, playground for the kids, restaurant, little giftshop and all. Little platforms around the lake to take pictures. Lovely place, definitely worth visiting!”

“A paradise for lotus and water lily lovers! The garden is huge, with ponds full of vibrant blooms everywhere you look. So many beautiful varieties and amazing photo spots. Super peaceful and incredibly scenic. Definitely come back again!”
