1 / 2Claremont Aquatic Centre
📍 Claremont, WA
Claremont Aquatic Centre has two heated pools — one waist-deep for young children and one with a deep section for older swimmers — plus a dedicated waterplay zone, shaded grass seating, and on-site cafe.
Great water play area for the little ones. 2 pools one is adult waist height good for little kids and the other deep water for the big kids. Lots of shade and grass to sit on plus benches too under shade.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of different ages who want a relaxed swim day. The shallow pool suits toddlers and early swimmers, the deep pool challenges older kids, and lifeguards patrol actively. Casual swimmers should arrive early as lanes book up quickly for classes.

“Pool and facilities are great. Staff are kind and helpful. Whoever they get to mow the lawn (LMS) has no regard for patrons. Peppering my kids and myself with the line trimmer while waiting for our lesson. It would only be a matter of time before they injure someone. Noting the lack of PPE it seems like this memeber has a level of complacency that doesnt align with current WHS policies. Not one to complain but this is poor for a council pool considering the council employees stop trimming when I walk past them in the park. Probably some retraining required for this individual or do the landscaping before or after the pool closes? This would limit the clippings coming jn the pool too? Just wanted to update this came back a week later and there was a complete 180. Very careful and considerate to the patrons and kids. Thanks so much.”

“I come here with family and it’s completely kid friendly for five people me and four kids. It was only $24. You get access to 2 pools and a waterpark but lanes are booked quite a bit so it’s very hard to be able to swim. there is a massive pool in the middle that has a very deep section but there are lifeguards patrolling the area I would personally recommend as it’s family friendly has changing rooms has many pools and you have access to quite a lot of stuff.”

Overview
Claremont Aquatic Centre runs two heated pools: a shallower pool suitable for young children and a larger pool with a deep section patrolled by lifeguards. A dedicated waterplay area adds extra fun for toddlers. The facility includes heated changerooms with hot showers, easy parking with disabled bays, full disabled access, and an on-site cafe. Lanes are frequently reserved for lessons and squads, so the centre suits casual family swimming more than lap training.
