1 / 2Climb West Melbourne
π Altona, VIC
Indoor bouldering gym in Altona with walls up to 4.5m, diverse routes for ages 8+, yoga studio, on-site coffee van, and women's climbing nights. NDIS-accessible with support worker experience. Dog-friendly.
I highly recommend Climb West Melbourne. My session there was awesome! The routes and problems are clever, fun and graded really well. The atmosphere is great with friendly staff that made me feel really welcome. Their facility is modern and they have thought of it all. Before I left I went and checked out the yoga studio, really beautiful and canβt wait to try a yoga session. Added bonus is a funky coffee van with yummy coffee and smoothies. I will definitely be back!
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids 8+ wanting to try climbing in a genuinely non-intimidating environment. The coffee van and yoga studio keep parents occupied during rest periods. The NDIS accessibility and disability-inclusive approach make it one of the more welcoming gyms in Melbourne's west.

βThe best small bouldering gym I've been to. Plenty of diversity in the climbs. It has a yoga room/gym and boardgames and books to entertain you during breaks. A lovely little coffee van. Dog friendly and great staff. What more could you want?!β
