Coburg Leisure Centre

“I have just taken up swimming for leisure/exercise again after some time off, and I'm so glad I chose Coburg Leisure Centre. I remember why I used to love coming here. I am fortunate enough to be able to swim during the off peak times which makes my swim so much more peaceful and relaxing. All the staff I have dealt with this afternoon are kind, well mannered, attentive and professional. I was even asked if I needed any help upon entering, as I was looking around to see if the cafe was open. I didn't even need to approach the front desk! What a refreshing, lovely experience. I love the view of the gardens from the cafe and the coffee is good too. Coburg Leisure Centre will be a welcome part of new healthier, happier routine.”

“As soon as you walk in the staff smile at you.The place has all the facilities you need.It also has child or day care service for parents who wish to get fitness while reliable people look after their kids.It is clean and would make you feel relaxed. It is very close to shopping centresand surrounds with other communal facilities. The parking area is huge.”

“The one positive thing about the Leisure Centre is that it is affordable. Besides that, it is filthy (change rooms, gym, fitness hall, everywhere), the staff at reception are young and ill trained and indifferent. The Leisure Centre does not respond to emails and multiple follow ups are needed for each issue. Lockers have been broken (e.g. doors ripped off, not locking, etc) for months. Maintenance is sporadic. I will say that some of the instructors (e.g. for yoga) are great, but even then, the Leisure Centre does not have enough equipment for every person in the yoga class to have enough blocks and props. I cannot recommend this place.”

“Felt like I was interrupting the staff on the desk, and all the clocks are set to different times which is quite confusing! No one monitoring what’s going on in the lanes, so kids dominate across the swimming lanes too. Lovely spa although a could be hotter”
