1 / 3Domain Creek Playground
đ Westmead, NSW
Large playground in Parramatta Park featuring flying fox, water play areas, sand zones, mini trampolines, roundabouts, swings, slides, and music activities. Walking and cycling tracks, BBQ tables, and free weekend parking on West Domain Ave.
Nice family outing. Parking available on West Domain Ave but it may fill up quickly on weekends. It says 2P parking on weekdays but we usually go on weekends. Additional ticket parking available on Park Ave ($3/hr, $13/day on weekdays). People are mentioning shade. The trees are all along the perimeter road (West Domain Ave), so if you arrive early enough, you should be able to find shade but bring your own folding chairs and tables. There are 4 shelters but those fill up quickly early in the morning. Children playground and public toilet available.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids across a wide age range who want hours of diverse outdoor play in western Sydney. The flying fox and water play are the headline drawcards. Shade is primarily along the perimeter â arrive early on weekends to secure shelter spots and parking before both fill. Weekday visits offer two-hour free parking on West Domain Ave.

âNice playground for kids. Can get quite busy so the early morning option is always a good call. (Before 9am). There are swings, slides, mini trampolines, roundabouts, music activities, water play area, ride on little sand diggers and a zipline thing. You get quite a few birds in the area which is always a nice thing. There are toilets quite close by as well. The only down side to this playground is that there is not much shade.â

âThis is possibly the best playground that I have seen across the whole of Sydney. The park is located in the middle of this section of Parramatta Park - along the eastern perimeter near the bush. Lots of padding on the ground making it very safe for children. It's quite creative too! Plenty of space between each piece of equipment. There's a large sand pit here too. Seating, toilets and shade is located near the playground.â

âIt is an one of the best parks for kids in Paramatta area with well maintained equipments. Most of the facilities are available here, walking and cycling tracks, enough shades with seats, BBQ tables and plenty of parking slots.â
