📍 Coomera, QLD
Gold Coast theme park spanning six precincts — Steel Taipan and King Claw for thrill-seekers, Kenny & Belinda's Dreamland for younger kids, and Tiger Island plus WILD for wildlife encounters.
Fun packed day! Our family loved it the the first time in 2025 ,we got an annual pass and returned in Jan 2026 ! Wonderful day! Tiger Island was my favourite ! If you don't like thrill rides you can go for the train ride! Staff everywhere are amazing. Best of all was the assistant on the train Aysha! She deserves a medal! She offered to take a photo of all our family . Those little things matter. Rides wait times were up to 45mins but not all rides, having said that ,the queues move very quickly and efficiently. There's a lot of choices food wise. I'd recommend a hat & sunscreen & keep hydrated. I noticed a hydration station at the entrance outside. I didn't see any within the park itself. Hydration stations within the park will be a practical addition. Added bonus are the frequent public buses! We had our car the first time we visited. We used public transport this time, train from the city, transferred to a bus at Coomera station that stops right at the park and vice versa on the return trip. Travel time via this mode of transport ..allow up to 2hrs each way from Brisbane City. Amenities are spotless! I highly recommend exploring the Riverton area with Tiger Island. I felt like I had stepped into Africa. Its lush wilderness and absolutely peaceful. There is a cafe at the end ,where the crocodiles are. If you are an adult who needs to sit down and recover after a long day of activities, I highly recommend finishing with that so the kids can explore the Bilby enclosure, crocodiles and surrounding wildlife whilst you recover with a coffee in a peaceful setting then catch the train to the exit. Well done Dreamworld ! Thank you for your outstanding service throughout the whole experience. We will be back!(again).
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for mixed-age families where teens and adults want major coasters and younger kids need gentler options — the split between Dreamland and the thrill zones handles both. Tiger Island is a genuine highlight regardless of age. Visit on a weekday during school term for manageable queues.

“Dreamworld was a.fabulous experience and our additional Tiger Island experience was amazing. Obviously the wait times for rides are never short, we were there on a weekday and the average wait was 50 minutes for each ride, however they are well shaded and many have lots of fans. Don't forget your sunblock and water bottles. All the staff we spoke with were really lovely, very friendly and helpful. Take your time, allow a full day and enjoy.”

“The park was awesome! The attractions were really cool, we had a really good time. We went at the end of the school holidays so we didn’t have to wait to much for the attractions, the food was good, the staff is very friendly and they know what they’re doing so we felt safe at all times. Definitely we’re coming back!”
