If you’re looking for a perfect family day, the both kids and adults can enjoy. Then this is the place to visit. Situated right next to dreamworld. About half an hour out of Surfers Paradise right next to the M1. White water world is the perfect way to spend a nice, sunny, warm Gold Coast day. With a wave pool that has nice warm water. Not too gold. The kids can go on all the rides while the parents can relax on the deck chairs or in the cabanas. Just as long as you watch your kids in the wave pool. There is a section dedicated to toddlers. There are great thrill rides including a water roller coaster. You can get some great food and drinks here for lunch. When you’re done, Westfield shopping centre is just up the road and Costco if you need to stop on the way home. Being apart of Dreamworld, you can spend half the day at white water world. And half the day at Dream World. Or one day at each it you want more time. This is a must visit on your holiday at the Gold Coast.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 3–12 who want a manageable water park where no one gets lost. The wave pool is the standout for mixed-age groups and adults. Teens may find the ride count sparse by late morning. Annual pass holders get the best value during school holidays when single-day queue times stretch beyond 35 minutes.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Arrive at opening to claim shaded lounge chairs and access short queues before
⏰Leave thrill slides for early morning β€” waits exceed 35 minutes during school holiday peak times
🎟️No cabana booking required if you arrive early; standard lounge chairs are widely available
πŸš—Annual pass holders get the best return during school holidays when day-pass value shrinks with long waits

β€œI went with my 2 grandchildren aged 3 and 5. It was perfect because there was so much they could do yet the park wasn't so gigantic that they could easily be lost. My son and his wife enjoyed the adult slides. It was easy to find a shaded lounge chair, there are many around. We had originally planned to hire a cabana but am glad they were booked out because there really was no need. We lined up early and found the chairs easily. The wave pool was the big winner. Great day out.”

β€œThe water slides, wave pool were Superb and definitely an excellent Water park with thrill level for all ages. Need more toilets in the main male change facilities. The staff were all fantastic and professional! Also felt the water was very clean and monitored very carefully. Well done!”

β€œBusy very busy ! Aka school holidays. Best to get there at opening or wait until late afternoon. We got there at opening and managed to get seats to set up...however come 11am the wait times were excess 35+ mins. Still a good couple of hours for the kids and we are lucky we have annual passes.”
