“I see a movie here at least once or twice a month and every time it's an easy and enjoyable experience. Dendy shows a good selection of older films alongside the new, and I tend to see a lot of re-releases. It's so good to have them on the big screen. A recent highlight was Heat - the sound was incredible. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. One time they put through a ticket exchange for me after I showed up to the wrong screening of a film, rather than making me buy a new ticket - I really appreciated that. The premium offering is a nice treat. It has comfy seats, a good menu and drinks list, and incredibly discreet staff who drop off food and drinks with no disturbance. Glad to have such a great cinema in the middle of town!”

“Always a fun night out the dendy membership is truly worth it. Premium is relaxing and good food to have with your movie. The IMAX experience is fantastic and a must to give it a go for a night out, especially something with a bit of action.”

“Great location with easy parking and good eateries within a short walking distance, but Dendy itself has become incredibly run down and a far less appealing option compared to other cinemas considering the environment, cost and "online booking fee". Seats were absolutely filthy and don't look like they have been cleaned since the place opened. One person operating the ticketing and candy bar when we arrived for our session resulting in a queue of 30 people - operator was doing their best in the circumstances with the ticket office not being staffed. No parking validation on offer. Will be choosing other cinemas in the future.”

“I’ve enjoyed this theatre many times before and recently have been coming weekly, but I had a really unsettling experience. I was the only person in a screening, and a group of disruptive people entered multiple times, yelling and intimidating me. I reported it, but no refund or immediate action was taken. I hope the theatre can improve safety checks so no one else feels unsafe. When I reported it, staff did offer to call security, but at that point, I felt too uncomfortable to stay. I appreciated the offer, but I wish the situation had been prevented or handled earlier.”
