“I had a couple issues with ordering on Saturday night but the lovely tanned woman at the Gold Class bar was a delight when helping me (Even though it was busy). Also when the eftpos machines went down, she and the young girl with red hair handled it very smoothly until the issue was solved. Great Job! Thanks for having a laugh with me, aswell!”

“ZooTopia Tins- I paid $40 for this tin for the take home memory…The tins that I was expected to use to fill my popcorn were filled with dust and had children’s hands touching constantly just in the time I was there. So I asked the lady at the counter to see if there were any out the back. She had such an attitude. When I mentioned that for the price they should be individually wrapped she continued with her attitude. Not very hygienic! And pretty disappointing customer service. Mb she doesn’t care about hygiene but I sure do! Only giving a few stars because the gold class cinemas was clean and had great service.”

“Went to Gold Class for a Saturday night movie. Terrible experience, with how expensive the food and tickets are I expected so much better. We ordered three items. First they brought us the wrong food - and dumped it and left so quickly we didnt get a chance to tell them. We finally got someones attention, asked about our food, the Calamari. It came out ten minutes later - cold. It was disgusting. They forgot our pizza altogether so we had to ask about that as well. When it finally came it was chewy and whoever cut it did a terrible job as we had to tear it into pieces, in the dark. Having to chase up our food really ruined the experience so yeah, thanks for that. Dont waste your money here - go to Newmarket or Stafford.”

“Screen 12 at Event Cinemas Chermside has a clear ventilation and maintenance problem. There was a strong musty/mouldy smell and the air felt heavy and stale, making the theatre very uncomfortable to sit in for a long movie. The seats, floor, and aisles had old popcorn, clearly showing the theatre had not been cleaned between sessions. The curtains were also visibly dusty. This is not a minor issue.. air quality in an enclosed cinema is a basic health and safety requirement. Screen 12 needs urgent inspection and remediation. Very very disappointing experience.”
