The seating is extremely comfortable with plenty of space, making it easy to sit back and actually enjoy the movie without feeling cramped. The service is top-tier — staff are friendly, helpful, and quick, which makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The food and drinks are a huge highlight. There’s a great range to choose from, everything comes out fresh, and being able to enjoy proper food and drinks while watching a movie just takes it to another level. Prices are surprisingly great for the quality you get, making it feel like real value for money compared to other cinemas. Overall, Coolangatta Cinebar delivers on seating, service, food, drinks, atmosphere, and pricing all in one place. It’s the kind of cinema you actually look forward to coming back to, and it easily deserves a full 5 stars. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a better movie experience 👌🎬”

“What a wonderful cinema!! Staff were lovely, decor is fresh and modern, recliners were comfortable and loved the swivel tables but my favourite was the Cinebar intro before the movie.. I would watch all movies here just to watch that again and again and again!! The most awesome nostalgic hype reel of all the best films in history!! Thank you for that experience!”

“Very comfy theatre in heart of Coolangatta (level 2 of shopping centre). There is a number of cinemas showing various current & new release movies. Seats are comfy recliners. Bought tickets at counter & were able to select our seats. The cinema has a cafe & you can order at counter or from your seat. We ordered coffee at the counter & were delivered to our seat - unfortunately it took a while & they were fairly weak. The staff were friendly. Tickets were reasonable & discounts for seniors. Parking on street or in shopping centre car park or public transport.”

“While I appreciate the rule of no outside food and drink allowed… they should then offer competitive prices to encourage people to purchase from them… not $8+ for an Icecream, and $15 for popcorn… especially when it’s stale. The last time I attended they delivered a meal that wasn’t mine to my seat, I told the lady at the time and she didn’t care and walked off, clearly loved her job, she looked like she was well over it. So then I had to leave the movie I wanted to see to return food that wasn’t even mine and I kindly approached the Asian lady at the desk who rudely took the plate, didn’t say sorry of thank you and just walked off. They then delivered that same plate after I’d be touching it to the right seat. Don’t think I’ll return. At least at other cinemas while the prices might be high, you can at least take food in and/or not be body searched on arrival.”
