1 / 2Event Cinemas - Hurtsville
π Hurstville, NSW
Multi-screen cinema on the rooftop of Hurstville Westfield offering mainstream releases, V-Max, and Gold Class sessions. Short walk from Hurstville train station. Open caption sessions available, weekend scheduling is sparse.
Located at the Rooftop of Hurstville Westfield Shopping Centre, 3 Cross Street, Hurstville, New South Wales, Australia π¦πΊ This cinema is great for convenience as itβs a short bus π ride from my home π . Itβs got more competitive prices also as itβs an older and more dated cinema than Miranda or others. I like it for the convenience and the price. The staff are also always very friendly and helpful. Itβs also a 5 minute walk from Hurstville Train π station. The toilets are clean and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet π». The cinemas themselves are also wheelchair π¦Ό accessible. The food and drinks are pretty much the same prices as the other cinemas which isnβt cheap. I really like this cinema and would give it a Thumbs Up! ππππ
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who prioritise transport convenience and competitive pricing over polished facilities. The Hurstville train station proximity makes it accessible without driving. Families with accessibility requirements should check open caption and wheelchair session scheduling carefully before booking β weekend afternoon options are sparse.

βLove this cinema, but Iβm really hoping they start putting more Open Caption sessions for big movies like Scream 7 on the weekends. Weekday mornings are impossible for workers. Would give 5 stars if the accessibility scheduling was better for Saturday/Sunday afternoons!β

βTook my 3 daughters to watch Wicked movie yesterday evening, whilst cinema was spotless, the awful lady serving popcorn was unprofessional and unwelcoming. It felt like she was bothered to be there, rude and generally unpleasant. She should seriously consider leaving if she hates it that much. The young man who checked our tickets was lovely, which is why I havenβt given you a 1 star!!β

βSo i went to this cinema to go and watch the new Scream movie coming out and firstly i was mistreated and was denied access to watch Scream even though i had already purchased the tickets. So they changed my ticket to watch Wuthering Heights instead so i had to watch that because i wasn't gonna be wasting money, and as i entered room number 6 where Wuthering Heights was playing, their was a horrid smell like wet dog and i left with a headache and very disappointed will not be going back here again. Very bad service.β
