I went here 82 times last year so they must be doing something right đŸ¤ˇâ€â™‚ī¸ They have some of the best cinema staff in Perth. Very sensible if any problems come up. Proactive too. Like the time I was the only person in a mums & bubs session (with no kid) so a staff member asked if I wanted the lights turned off if no one else turned up. It might be the only cinema I went to last year where I never saw the staff having to give out comp passes to make up for some problem. They show a good variety of films including a lot of Indian cinema. But they could use more community building programming like festivals, Q&As, local film premieres (locals deserve a chance), etc. The Cinebuzz program needs to be reformed though. Sometimes you can get a better discount using the kiosks at the cinema than you can get online - even when signed in online. And it costs the same number of points to get a discount on an already half price ticket vs a full price one. They have far fewer technical issues than the other chain cinemas. Their projectors have less issues than Hoyts (who don't believe you if you tell them their laser projectors are WAY out of calibration), and they don't have the fire alarm going off every 15-20 visits (like Palace). I haven't seen it yet but I hear their IMAX screen doesn't have the "circus tent stripes" manufacturing fault like the Hoyts one does. Hopefully Westfield don't overdeveloped the site in the future and end up charging for parking.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A strong pick for families who want variety — from standard weekend sessions to immersive 4DX for older kids. The IMAX screen is rated above other Perth locations by regulars. Mums-and-bubs sessions run with lights adjusted on request. Gold Class food is hit-and-miss between visits; standard sessions are the more reliable choice.

“Gold Class offers a great experience with good food. Food is a little overpriced and can be a little hit and miss between visits but generally pretty good. Theatres are always cleaned and well maintained”
