1 / 3Portside Boulders Osborne Park
π Osborne Park, WA
Indoor bouldering facility in Osborne Park with routes across all grades, weekly new walls, and a welcoming community. On-site cafe serves excellent coffee. Training board area includes Kilter, Moonboard, and campus rungs.
Visited this gym yesterday and it is an excellent facility. Fun setting, good training area, and most importantly, it has great crowd! Also the coffees here are excellent too! Training area has beastmakers, various edges, kilter board, moonboard, splatter board and campus rungs. Amazing! Changing room and toilet facilities could do with an upgrade and they should get lockers or lockable cages too.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older children or teens who already have some climbing confidence. The community is generally welcoming and the route variety is strong. Beginners may find the inventive setting skews harder β the O Connor location offers an easier entry point. Supervise children closely in back areas away from staff.

βGreat gym! Climbed here many times. Itβs typically quiet and the people who are there are all very nice. The routes have good variety and quality setting but the cool/inventive routes tend to be on the more difficult side of the scale (check out the OβConner location for slightly more beginner friendly climbs). Happy sending!β

βReally enjoyable visit. Its not the prettiest gym, and its a bit dusty, but its got a huge amount of space, great routesetting, and lots of variety. Really laid back vibe with lots of people chatting and laughing, and as an out of towner I felt very accepted and welcomed. Would be 5 stars if not for a few too many groups of kids goofing off on the walls unattended in the back area away from the counter. Ill be returning if Iβm ever back in Perth.β
