“It’s a great place! I love the idea of having it in the middle of the food court! For Christmas 2025 I was given a $30 event cinemas gift card. As I live in Saratoga I usually go to Hoyt’s, but the gift card was for Event. So on the 31st of December 2025 I was in the 9:20am session of The SpongeBob Movie, and I was near the top, and there were these 2 in the row behind me. One was a lady, and the other was a man. The man wouldn’t quiet down for like most of the movie, and the lady he was with seemed like she didn’t care. Eventually I did go to the candy bar and let them know. When I returned a male staff member came in just to see what’s happening, and the man was quiet when he was there anyway. But it was a lot better by the end of the movie. Maybe staff should like improve their security on when it comes to talking in the cinemas. Although compared to Hoyt’s Erina, there are some cons: - members don’t have free popcorn refills - no xstreamsxreen like cinemas. - bad reception (at Hoyts it’s the same when I was with Optus, and now I have switched to Telstra. Telstra connection is a little better at event, but not as good as hoyts) - seats are a little torn and a few stains. I am a regular here and will come back still, just stuff to improve here :)”

“Can you please replace the worn out arm rests in Gold Class Tuggerah… was so gross sitting in those chairs. How can you even keep selling tickets with the seats that bad… all the fake leather stuff has come off the arm rests leaving this crusty, kinda dusty feeling fabric surface… if i had a chair that bad at home i would have thrown it out… i had to sit there with my arms crossed so they wouldnt touch the arms of the chair…”

“Love the cinema, but the online booking system nowadays is an absolute joke, having to type my details in several times, each requiring some form of security verification. Something that used to taken 2 minutes is not an entire hurdle. And when you ask for someone that actually WORKS there to book for you they immediately tell you to book online. Their paychecks should being going to website.”
