1 / 2Grizzly Bear Park Playground
đ Truganina, VIC
Creative Alaska-themed playground in Truganina with a giant climbable grizzly bear centrepiece reached via climbing holds, plus tunnels, hamster wheel, metal slide, seal springer, and swings. Shelter with table and water tap on-site.
Great little playground for little kids and a spinning wheel for older kids. Lots of grass to run on, a boat, swings, tunnels, exercise equipment with bench and shaded seating but no public toilets or BBQ facilities.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2-8 who respond to imaginative, themed play equipment. The bear climb and hamster wheel are standout features. The compact footprint suits a 45-60 minute visit rather than a full day out. Bring snacks and drinks as on-site facilities are sparse.

âA new playground in a new estate with an interesting centre piece of a grizzly bear. There are climbing stone to get up to the top of its head. The nut play equipment is the first time I see something like it. Works like a mouse wheel and can spin pretty fast and may cause people to tumble around if not careful. Also features barbecue area with many place to sit around.â

Overview
Follow bear tracks past a seal springer and log jumble, aboard a tugboat, and up through climbing holds to the grizzly bear centrepiece at the top. The hamster wheel is a popular attraction â it spins fast and requires supervision. A metal slide, rope swing, and basic outdoor gym round out the equipment. Covered shelter with a table and water tap on-site. Large grassy surrounds with seating. No BBQ facilities confirmed; no public toilets.
