1 / 2Horace Street Playground
π Point Cook, VIC
Playground centred on a red tower with tunnel slide, rope bridges, and climbing challenges. Features a water pump creek system, sandpit with diggers, bug springers, see-saw, outdoor gym, and large grassy area with AFL posts.
Great little playground for kids and pets with a nice little oval for walks, a little exercise area for adults (& kids) with a creek that kids can fill with water and a sand pit with a bucket machine. Can't go wrong β€οΈ
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers to primary-schoolers who enjoy active, messy play β the water creek and sandpit guarantee wet clothes. Visit on a cooler morning due to sparse shade. Bring hats, sunscreen, and spare clothes for the water play. The AFL oval and gym give adults and older siblings something to do as younger kids use the main equipment.

βA really well maintained playground very clean. The only downside are the people who let their dogs loose thinking it's a dog free park. So far no incident has happened doesn't mean to say it won't. But then again when it does happen, the owners will feign ignorance and say Oh my dog is so mild not sure what happened and then the golden word will come out 'sorry'. All will be forgiven and back to BAU.β

Overview
Horace Street Playground's centrepiece is a red tower with metal tunnel slide accessed via rope bridges and climbing frames. At ground level: a sandpit with diggers, a water pump feeding a rocky creek channel, bug springers, and a see-saw. Two swings, an outdoor gym, and a shelter with tables sit alongside a generous grassy area with AFL posts. No toilets on site β nearest facilities require a short drive.
