The premises was clean, comfortable, spacious and easily accessible. There are plenty of kiosks and registers to purchase tickets, merchandise, snacks and refreshments. The seating is fantastic, the recliners save the need for wriggling and twisting to keep comfortable and there is plenty of space between you and your neighbours for arm rests as well. The 3D viewing is different and the glasses supplied are comfortable and sturdy, making for an enjoyable experience.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families wanting reliable recliner comfort in a central location. Standard and Little Stars sessions are the sweet spot β€” LUX adds dining service and staff continuously entering during the film interrupts viewing. Bring your own snacks or budget generously; concession prices are high across the board.

β€œI went today to a Lux session. The staff were amazing as soon as we arrived we were asked to take a seat in a nice lounge area. Very good customer service. Expensive for food but what do you expect. Comfy recliners and all around much better than event cinema gold class.”

β€œStrange atmosphere, but the staff were nice enough. However, I did leave the cinema to get popcorn and it took three staff to provide a refund for one customer who arrived after me, leaving me (missing the movie) waiting while they fumbled around (?). Slushies were also mid, popcorn was surprisingly decentβ€”probably earnt the third star.”

β€œI write this review mainly for the bad experience at the lux tonight when I watched the wicked. We ordered red wine before we got into the cinema, and told them we want the wine served while movie starts. The first hour staff were constantly serving ppl in the cinema, out in out in, which distracted me from focusing on the movie. Also our wine was not served after the movie started 50 mins ish. I went out and pee and told them about our wine. I can tell that they were busy and maybe kinda short of hands. But then after half an hour we still didn't get it, and we had to press that red button to call staff, and got our wine. This is my first exp in a lux one, and I just don't think I will come back again. Despite the late serving wine, I just feel I couldn't enjoy the movie with staff coming in and out. It ruins everything.”
