“HOYTS Eastland is my favourite cinema in Melbourne. The screens are big, the recliners are genuinely luxurious, and the auditoriums are clean and spacious. Dolby Atmos always sounds excellent, and I love the Extreme Screen. The express kiosks for booking tickets are quick and easy, and the self-service Candy Bar is a big plus. I don’t mind serving myself, especially when the wait times at Village can be ridiculous—this setup really helps avoid that. I often grab snacks from Coles downstairs and bring them in; I’ve never tried to hide it and have never been pulled up on it, so make of that what you will. Another big positive is the audience behaviour. I’ve rarely had issues with people talking during movies here, which is something I constantly experience at other cinemas. The only real downside is the price. I paid $28 for a concession ticket to Anaconda—a short, B-grade comedy—on a weeknight, which”

“Myself and my wife visited here 10th Feb to see a 6.00pm movie using Lux experience vouchers given to us as a gift. We had difficulty with the vouchers we presented as we only partially printed out what was required. We were assisted by Noah who was absolutely amazing! He was extremely helpful, patient and professional in dealing with our issue. The staff here have always been great to deal with however Noah went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Noah, people like yourself are the reason why people like us will keep coming back to Hoyts Eastland.”

“Love the walk in snacks to go area. Something unique and convenient. The cinemas are kept clean and tidy. The seats recline, are wide , comfy and have ample legroom. The sound system engulfs you in every scene and the screen is wide enough for good viewing angle even on the side rows. Considering Hoyts voucher and ticket discount offers, the price you pay is really a good value and even if it will be in full price. The experience is worth it.”
