1 / 3HOYTS Norwood
π Norwood, SA
Recliner seats across all sessions, XtremeScreen, and D-BOX motion seats. Located in a complex with multiple dining options. HOYTS Little Stars sessions suit younger children. Four hours free parking in the complex.
Hoyts Norwood sets the benchmark for cinemas in Adelaide. Super comfy recliners, an unreal XtremeScreen, and an overall experience that actually feels premium. I donβt hand out 5-star ratings often, but compared to most cinemas around Adelaide, this one is easily one of the best Iβve been to. The recliner seats are very comfortable and the fact theyβre standard across the cinemas is a huge win. Plenty of space, easy to settle in, and perfect for longer films. The XtremeScreen is outstanding. We watched the latest Avatar in 3D and it was a brilliant experience. Crisp visuals, powerful sound, and the kind of setup that reminds you why the cinema still matters. Popcorn was fresh and delicious. Toilets were clean and well maintained, which always says a lot about how a place is run. Friendly staff and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. An all-round excellent cinema experience. Comfortable, modern, well run, and consistently delivers. Easily one of Adelaideβs best cinemas and well worth choosing over most others.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 5 and up who want a comfortable, premium cinema experience. Recliner seats make long films significantly more comfortable for adults. The XtremeScreen is worth booking for blockbusters. Staff knowledge of vouchers and promotions has been inconsistent β confirm policies before purchasing.

βThis is my local but also my favourite SA cinema. In a great complex with lots of food options for before or after the movies. Hoyts staff are usually all friendly, with good candy bar options. Has around 9 cinemas and a really good selection of movies. I am there at least once a week and with the 4 hours free parking, it's super easy to visit and park.β
