๐ Stafford, QLD
HOYTS Stafford offers recliner seating, daybeds, Xtremescreen, D-BOX motion seats, and HOYTS Little Stars family sessions. Birthday party areas are bookable on site.
I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit to this Hoyts location. We booked the Xtremescreen session and had a great experience from the moment we arrived. The staff were genuinely helpful โ one team member even offered to pack a fresh popcorn when they noticed I was reaching for one further back, which I really appreciated. The cinema itself was tidy and wellโkept. The daybed seats in front of us were fully booked, and one pair even brought their own pillow and blanket, which gave the whole space a cosy, relaxed vibe. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable visit. Iโd happily come back for another Xtremescreen session.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want comfortable seating and a solid cinema experience without travelling to the CBD. The Xtremescreen with daybed seating is the standout format โ worth booking specifically. Staff quality is a genuine highlight. Concession prices are high, so eating beforehand or bringing snacks keeps costs manageable for a family of four.

โIt's a very big playground for the kids, price for entry is ok for the place but the food is very pricey. My grannies did enjoy running around in the main play area, but it does cost extra for the flying fox, wall climb, and rhino run (ninja warrior course) and have to pay by the hour for the extra ones, but the main play area is regular entry price for all dayโ

โWent to the movies at Hoytโs Stafford to use a voucher on Tuesday night. Only one lady serving at the bar and food area with a huge line. She was lovely however busy time should have been more helping. The cost of the pizzas is ridiculous especially for what you get. If it was small specialise pizza would have been good however this tasted like cardboard.โ

โEverything was fine and friendly except for one major problem. The popcorn ๐ฟ was stale! ๐ At $10.90 for a small Iโd hope it was Michelin star quality or at least fresh. Iโll be on the hunt for the cinema that can deliver this component. Love my popcorn ๐โ
