A great playground, close to transport and huge. From the harbour side walks to the many little playgrounds you can spend hours here. With or without kids you can really relax. The walk round to Black Wattle bay is really scenic and an easy family ride. With the Tramsheds here and Glebe point road eateries it is a great way to stretch your legs and your waste band.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families who want open space and a harbour walk rather than a destination playground. The grassy areas suit toddlers and primary-age kids running freely, and the pram-friendly paths make it accessible for babies. Families expecting a large structured playground will find the equipment sparse β€” the real draw is the scenery and space.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Combine the park with the Black Wattle Bay walk β€” flat, pram-friendly, and scenic
⏰Tramsheds food hall is a short walk and a practical lunch stop for families
🎟️Parking is available within the park β€” arrive early on weekends for the closest spots
πŸš—Bring your own picnic supplies β€” tables and benches are available throughout
