The park is really huge. Has a big play area. Lots of benches and desks to sit and relax. The grass in the park is well maintained so you can sit on the grass. We had less time to spend there so couldn't cover the entire park. But I'm sure to visit the park soon. So I could give a detailed review on the park. It's a good spot for enjoying a picnic with your family or friends groups or just a walk. The park has two parking areas. The toilets are neat and clean. Has baby nappy changing area in the toilet. Dogs are allowed. The experience was super cool and awesome. Very nice and calm place. Good for walking, kids play and relaxing.❤️🫶

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 4-12 who respond to imaginative, non-prescriptive play equipment. The red structures are visually distinctive and draw repeat visits. The amphitheatre and event programme make it a multi-use destination beyond standard playground visits.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Two parking areas serve the park — the second lot off Stock Road is less known and usually has availability
The five large heritage canopy trees provide reliable shade over the main seating area
🎟️Check the amphitheatre event calendar — community concerts are staged here regularly
🚗Wide sealed paths handle prams, bikes, and scooters simultaneously — bring wheeled gear

Kadidjiny Park has become a favourite spot for our family, especially for after-school playdates. It’s got such a fun and imaginative vibe—the red play structures always remind us of something out of a Dr Seuss book, and the kids never get tired of the climbing nets, slides, swings, and musical instruments. There’s a good mix of shaded areas, open green space, and seating for parents to relax while the kids run wild. There’s plenty of room for scooters, ball games, or even just rolling down the hills. Toilets and bbq area are clean, there’s always parking spot available, and never too crowded!

One good park in Melville and Myaree neighborhoods having good number of park amenities and space. The playground has slide-down barrels, sand fields, swings, benches, and soft mounds for kids. There are also plenty of shades to relax as kids have fun. The public toilet is small yet super clean. When I visited, there was an event where families gathered having weekend fun over outdoor picnics with BBQ and music.
