📍 Boronia, VIC
Knox LeisureWorks in Boronia offers outdoor pools, waterslides, a toddler splash park, spa, and learn-to-swim programs. Free entry is available for some users. Waterslide access carries a separate fee per child on top of standard pool entry.
Recently visited for the first time with my 4 year old who was just starting her GoSwim classes (with the lovely Jenny). Leonie took the time to give me a tour of the different pools and where the family change rooms were which was very thoughtful and welcoming. All the lifeguards we met were also lovely, taking the time to meet my daughter and show her their equipment and how they help other around water. Thanks for the five star welcome and for helping my daughter to become excited about swimming!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-aged children seeking outdoor summer swimming with slide access. The toddler splash park works well for under-5s. Budget for the separate waterslide fee per child on top of entry.

“Advertising classes on app booked in arrived to do class no instructor no email sent in inform regular users. Then I saw virtal classes advertised on Christmas holiday calendar to replace ones cancelled over break. Given 4 digit access code on calander to open virtal classes. Went to try virtal class machine needing 6 digit access code neither staff member on duty knew what 6 digit code was!!?? Why advertise incorrectly & not tell staff on duty what correct code is pointless advertising this alternative. Very disappointing & waste of my time what am I paying fees for if I can't do classes for over 4 weeks that I usually do & the alternative is not accessible. What poor organisation skills from management.”

“- Spa is broken and half the jets havent worked in 6 months. Filthy too with dirt and crud sitting at the bottom of the spa. I have never seen it cleaned. - Pool lanes often closed off for private swimming lessons and told you cant use a lane to swim after paying entry. They create one lane to swim, which is also public access for kids to play in and everyone gets in each others way. - Change rooms is disgusting and not often cleaned. I have seen blood and human feaces on the floor of the changerooms. - Gym is small, cramped and there are not that many machines. - Swipe card machine at entrance doesnt work and you have to queue up to enter.”
