π Lane Cove, NSW
BlueFit Lane Cove features a 50m outdoor pool, 25m indoor pool, shallow warm walk-in pool for children, learn-to-swim programs, gym, group fitness, and birthday party packages. Pram-friendly throughout.
We have had three kids learn to swim at BlueFit Lane Cove over several years, and there have been some truly standout people who have made a big difference to our experience. Brandon deserves a special mention. For years he has helped me navigate what I know is a pretty finicky scheduling system, managing to line up classes at the right times, at the right levels and often with my kidsβ preferred teachers. He has gone out of his way to make sure my two eldest could swim at the same time, which is no small feat. Always calm, patient, considerate and genuinely helpful. Jenny has made an enormous difference to the swim school since she started. She is an incredibly experienced teacher who gets to know every child and their carers and takes a genuine interest in their development. She understands the juggle families are managing and is amazingly accommodating and flexible. Recently she went above and beyond by recognising one of my children was ready to progress early and then reorganising things so my other child could move into a class with a preferred instructor at the same time. And a shout out to swimming instructor Bianca, whose warmth, energy and enthusiasm are infectious. She clearly cares deeply about her teaching and strikes the perfect balance between being playful and focused. My daughter loved learning from her for over a year, and her swimming went from strength to strength under Biancaβs guidance.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families committed to swim lessons over multiple seasons β the instructors deliver measurable progress and several staff members have been there long enough to know returning families by name. The 50m outdoor pool suits dedicated lap swimmers in the family.

βSuperb accessible facilities. Well managed, friendly staff, attentive lifeguards and extremely clean. Iβm mindful that privacy law quite correctly restricts photography in general: my images are to illustrate the sparkling 50 metre outdoor and 25 metre indoor pools and not swimmers. There is also a safe, shallow, warm, walk-in, hygienic pool for children, snack bar and, I wonβt go on. Iβve noticed across Google reviews that there are occasional contributors obviously having a bad day, possibly unaware their online tantrums remain in the cloud forever. Few of us wake up intending to have a miserable day or determined to perform poor work. It is not a perfect world yet Lane Cove Aquatic Centre is undoubtedly a happy place.β

ββββββ We visited Lane Cove Leisure Centre and had a great experience overall. The facilities are excellent - very clean, well maintained, and the full gym is great. The swimming pools were all clean and well presented. A special mention to Jes, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and took the time to show us around. Her support really made the visit enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience - highly recommend!β
