1 / 3Greenwich Baths
π Greenwich, NSW
Greenwich Baths offers a netted harbour swimming enclosure with a sandy beach, gentle rolling waves, deck chairs, communal beach toys, hot showers, toilets, and Sydney Harbour views. Toddlers and nervous swimmers are well catered for.
What a gem of a place, great family place especially the little ones. Itβs a safe environment with gentle rolling waves when we were there. The bath area is netted and fronted by a spacious sandy beach. Facilities include deck chairs picnic tables and chairs, (cold?)showers, toilets, communal beach toys for the kids. I think I even saw a beach umbrella but there are some shady areas during mid morning on the beach. There are more shady spots along the grassy side near the entrance. free parking at street level and more at the boat ramp. Free entrance on weekdays when it is not staffed. Highly recommend this place. May I suggest we all pick up any rubbish on the beach we see, especially cigarette butts, bits of plastic wrappers, broken plastic toys etc embedded in the sand and put all the toys back. π
π Family Action Verdict
The netted enclosure and sandy beach make this one of the safest harbour swimming spots in Sydney for children under 6. Toddlers can splash at the beach edge as older children swim in the netted area. Hot showers and toilets on site mean you can stay longer without discomfort.

βAmazing beach, very safe for you kids. The only drawback is that we had to pay entry ticket $5 per adult and $4 per kid. The beach has toilets and hot water showers one gate for entry make it safe for kids with special needs. Loved it β€οΈβ

βWater smelly and not clean but it still good for a quick swim . There are showers available. It secured by net for a safe swim. You have to pay before entry.....β
