1 / 3LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne
📍 Chadstone, VIC
Fully indoor Lego attraction with two rides (one no height restriction), DUPLO Farm for toddlers, Lego 4D Cinema, Build & Test race track, and Master Model Builder workshops. Designed for ages 3–10.
Great fun for Lego-loving families, with two rides (one with no height restriction), two playgrounds (Duplo one designated for toddlers), an impressive Miniland of Melbourne City (currently Christmas-themed) with interactive sections like the horse race and construction site, various building areas from racecars to Heartlake City, and a café (pricey, but there were two half-priced kids' toasties). Friendly and helpful staff. Children spent 5 happy hours exploring. There is a 4D cinema as well with various shows. 📽️ Miniland had many LGBT flags and a Mardi Gras bus in pride of place (expected for Melbourne, I suppose). The toilets are clean and have child-sized seats and sinks along with the adult ones. Scored cheaper tickets via Groupon.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Built specifically for Lego-loving kids aged 3–10. Toddlers have a dedicated DUPLO Farm zone, as older kids gravitate toward the race track and workshops. Plan for 3–5 hours. Adults-only night sessions run separately. Sign up for the workshop on arrival — spots fill fast on busy days.

“A must for Lego enthusiasts. Spent 3 hours there but could've easily stayed longer. Adults must be accompanied by a child! They do also run adults only sessions. The entry price includes unlimited access to Lego displays, interactive themed play areas, a couple of rides, a 4D cinema and Lego workshops. You do have to sign up for the workshops which run throughout the day as the seats are limited. There is also a virtual reality ride which is an additional cost. There is a cafe onsite as well as toilet facilities. Lego retail outlet also attached.”

“Great place for kids to play, we went on a time that’s not quite busy. So my little one was able to go on the ride many many times, she absolutely enjoyed it and the staff didn’t get upset 🤭 They were happy to operate even when she is the only one on the ride. The day we went there that the 4D cinema was not working, however the staff organise face painting instead. We were very happy and had a great time, even participated in the lego workshop too!!! I would think this would also be a great place for birthday parties.”
